But you don't have to worry about that, because The Pearl from Skyscraper is not a real building. The tallest building in Hong Kong in real life is the 1,588-foot International Commerce Centre, which is less than half the size of the fictional Pearl.
That's a good deal taller than the Wall, which is 700 feet tall, and the Red Keep, which is around 525 feet, taller than Orthanc from The Lord of the Rings but not quite as tall as the Sultan's Palace from Aladdin.
Design. The architectural rendering of the 225-story tall skyscraper was based on Chinese inspirations.
Built to an astounding 1:600 scale, Wallace Tower is meant to appear over two miles tall, reducing humans to a scale measured in micrometers.
"There was always the Empire State Building there to upstage it." Willis Tower is the heart of downtown Chicago and the future of work and play. The 110-story building is one of the tallest buildings in the world and the second tallest building in North America, making it impossible to miss when appreciating the city's skyline.
The Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia, the 3,280-feet-tall (1,000-meters-tall) is expected to open in 2020, it will knock Dubai's iconic Burj Khalifa off its throne as the tallest skyscraper in the world by 236 feet (72 meters).

It was 9:52 in the morning on March 31st, 1975, that the CN Tower officially became the World's Tallest Free-Standing Structure. The CN Tower held the record as the tallest building, tower, freestanding structure for over three decades. It remains the tallest in the Western Hemisphere.
The world's current tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, soars 2,716 into the sky, and more and more skyscrapers across Asia and the Middle East are rising each year. Eight of the top 15 tallest buildings are in China.
