WaterColor is home to one of South Walton's most picturesque coastal dune lakes, Western Lake. You can rent a kayak or stand up paddleboard (SUP) from the WaterColor Boathouse and spend your days paddling the lake, or hike and bike your way through Grayton Beach State Park and Point Washington State Forest.

Normal canvas, even if it has been gessoed, is generally not absorbent enough to work well with watercolors. The watercolors would lift off too easily, which would make blending or overlaying colors particularly difficult. The Seaside market has more variety but the Rosemary market has a great little restaurant as well as a nice selection of prepared salads and baked goods. I think the RB market has the edge because of the restaurant, pizza etc. It's nice to have the option to buy produce at Seaside but the prices are sky-high.
