One benefit of AirPods Pro over standard AirPods is that they fit into your ears better, making them less likely to fall out. But they still don't fit perfectly for everyone despite shipping with three different sizes of tips in the box. It's not only a case of making AirPods Pro fall out of your ears less, either.
Get longer battery lifeTo keep your Powerbeats Pro earbuds charged, put them in the case when you're not using them.
In addition to noise isolation, the Powerbeats Pro offer dynamic range — an audio term that refers to the difference and distance between the loudest and quietest sounds in a track. Overall, I found the Powerbeats Pro to sound louder, clearer, and more all-encompassing than the AirPods.
You can wear them while mowing the lawn without having to turn your audio up full volume, but you'll still need them to be a bit loud. They are definitely not comfortable for sleeping in.
You totally can! These are headphones are designed well and that when you wear your glasses with the Powerbeats pro on, it is still very comfortable. Currently wearing mine with my glasses and no discomfort. Powerbeats Pro have an all-new fit, making them easy to personalize for your comfort.
If you're leading an Apple-centric life, I'd say AirPods are a must-have. Go for the regular second-generation version if you're just looking for the basics (good sound, lengthy battery life) and get the Pro if you live for noise cancellation.
Don't swim or bathe with Powerbeats Pro. Don't expose Powerbeats Pro to pressurized water or high velocity water, such as when showering, water skiing, wake boarding, surfing, or jet skiing. Don't use Powerbeats Pro in a sauna or steam room.
Powerbeats Pro connect to your iPhone or Mac just like AirPods. Simply open the case to prompt a pairing mode, and Powerbeats Pro will pair automatically with any supported devices signed into your iCloud account.
They are not waterproof but they do have sweat and dust resistance meaning they won't be ruined by rain or falling in a puddle. That being said don't like throw them in a pool or shower with them. They're rated to be IPX4, so only sweat and splash proof. They're water resistant, IPx4.
They fall out when running…But for easy days, they're perfectly fine. I used them today for my 5 miler. I do still have these earbuds with over-the-ear hooks for intense runs. But but I know MANY people who love the Airpods for all types of runs.
AirPods Pro aren't designed for use in water sports like swimming, or for showering. After workouts, heavy sweating, or water splashes and before putting AirPods Pro into the wireless charging case, wipe down your AirPods Pro with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
The bass is definitely more punchy on the Powerbeats than it is on the AirPods, as we expected given they are in the Beats family of headphones. They don't sound as good as a more expensive over the ear alternative, but they still sound better than the AirPods for what I listen to (podcasts, music, calls).

Yes, AirPods will stay in your ears while you run ??Blessed day! This marathon runner quelled my concerns about AirPods — looks like they won't fall out.
The AirPods Pro are so much better and definitely worth the higher price. AirPods don't have tips to create a seal in your ear, and that means lesser sound quality, more outside noise, and they can fall out more easily.
Apple AirPods 3 release dateOur most recent hint of the AirPods 3 release date comes from an October 2020 Bloomberg report, which simply claims that the new earbuds could get announced as soon as 2021. His current prediction has the AirPods 3 coming in the first half of 2021.
Using AirPods for over 90 minutes at a time may result in aching pain. The cartilage in your ears simply isn't meant to hold something nestled inside for hours at a time. Using earbuds for too long can cause your ears to start to hurt.
AirPods are relatively expensive because Apple makes a great product, they integrate a lot of Apple features and people are willing to pay for them. Yes, the price is worth it for these earbuds. But, there are other non-Apple “true wireless” earbuds that are less expensive while still delivering a quality product.
To put it shortly, the quickest way to spot fake AirPods is to scan the serial number found on the inside of the case (see pictures below on how to find that serial number). Once you get that code, pop it through checkcoverage.apple.com and see whether Apple confirms it for you.
If you want AirPods—or have an iPhone—the AirPods Pro are the only AirPods we'd recommend picking up for several reasons. Not only will they sound significantly better than the original ones, but they offer more in the way of features and useful accessories too.

AirPods Pro ($235 from Amazon) - AirPods Pro are an obvious alternative to the AirPods that are more comfortable for some people because of the adjustable silicone tips that fit tighter into the ear canal. The body of the AirPods Pro is also smaller in the ear, and can result in less ear pain.
