CFA Exam Item Set FormatThe second session of the CFA Level III exam is comprised of 44 multiple choice items, each worth 3 points. Vidhu Shekhar: There is no age limit for taking CFA exams. There are many candidates who do CFA in their forties and fifties. The CFA exam is intended for practicing professionals. However, you do need to make sure that you can find enough time to prepare.
In terms of CFA® requirements in work experience, the candidates should have a minimum of 48 months of professional experience. A combination of Bachelor's degree and 48 months of work experience also works to appear for the CFA® Level 2 2021 exam.
CFA exams are not easy, and Level 1 is just the start. Commonly cited as one of the world's hardest exams, CFA Level 1's difficulty is comparable to a diploma level and gets harder from then on. But I didn't know that it's never-seen-before-and-by-the-way-you-could-definitely-fail tough.
So, that really gives you 4 months rather than 6. It's most certainly doable you just don't have any time to waste and can't talke many study-free days between Feb and June.
After removing the effect of work experience, we found that on average: CFA candidates who passed Level 2 saw an increase of 23% in total compensation; CFA candidates who passed Level 3 or Charterholders earned 39% more than those who had yet to pass CFA Level 1 exams.
Level 3 is harder than level 2 but less tough to pass because the pass rate is higher at around 50%.
The CFA Level 2 Exam is often cited as the hardest. A major reason for this is that it is a significant step up from Level 1. Just from the content, you will notice that the CFA Level 2 Exam gets much deeper on every topic, and includes every subject from Level 1.

Many CFA charterholders consider the Level 3 CFA Exam the most difficult because of the time and thought needed to answer the constructed responses successfully. While the typical Level 3 CFA Exam pass rates are the highest of the CFA Exams, only around 56% of CFA candidates pass the exam.
The curriculum of CFA level II can be
finished in 200 hours and we even can revise it twice in those many hours. But if you devote only 200 hours, then you won't have time for practicing enough number of questions which is crucial for passing the exam.
