Dare Me has heavily implied that Coach Colette (Willa Fitzgerald) murdered Sarge Will (Zach Roerig), who was found shot in Episode 7. But in the Season 1 finale, audiences learn that her husband, Matt (Rob Heaps), helped her cover it up. After such a cliffhanger, there has to be more to the story.
An official statement has not yet been made by the USA Network as to why the show was cancelled. However, The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported that the decision to cancel Dare Me comes as the USA Network moves from scripted originals to live and unscripted programming.
How Does The Dare Me Book End? In the end, Beth suffers a fall from the top of a pyramid, Addy ends up cheer captain, Coach and Matt answer for their crimes, and the cycle continues.

This backfires in Dare Me Episode 4 since the girls all turn on her. Beth is missing from practice, which means she's lacking a valuable ally, and her reassurances don't seem to amount to much. When the girls head out to a party with the Marines in “Rapprochement”, you can sense disaster on the horizon.

There will not be a second season of USA drama series Dare Me. The series dove into the cutthroat world of competitive high school cheerleading. It follows the fraught relationship between two best friends after a new coach arrives to bring their team to prominence.

Beth is in love with Addy, Addy is attracted to Coach and Coach probably (I hope) doesn't have a thing for either, but certainly flirts with Addy in various scenes. Beth and Addy used to be really close, but things changed, and even more when Coach French arrived.
According to “Hollywood Reporter”, USA Network cancelled 'Dare Me' Season 2 only because it wants to concentrate more on unscripted shows and reality TV.
Mar 20, 2020 | Rating: 4/5 | Full Review… Dare Me is the sort of teen drama that runs with that insanity and goes home with the gold because of it. Just as the cheerleaders on the series can become addicted to making it as a "top girl," you'll get addicted to this brief, deranged binge.
