One of the most common reasons why it says Invalid Payment Method on your iPhone is because you have to update your payment information. It's possible your current payment method has expired and needs to be updated. Then, tap Payment & Shipping and enter your Apple ID password.
Check that your card address matches the address in Google Payments. If your credit card is registered to a different address that can cause the payment to be declined. Check the zip code matches your current address. Find the payment method you are trying to use for the purchase.
If the app you want to know the price about is not installed on your device, then:
- Open the App Store app.
- Go to the bottom of the list in that section.
- Tap on your Apple id.
- Tap on sign out.
- Force-close the app (the App Store app) i.e. open the multitask pane and swipe the app out of the screen.
Check your Apple ID payment method. To download apps, you need to connect a payment method to your Apple ID, even if you're downloading a free app. If you do not have a payment method on file, or if your card is expired, you might not be able to download apps. Select Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > Sign Out.
See your purchase history on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Open the Settings app. Tap your name, then tap iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID, then tap View Apple ID.
An iPhone that can't download apps may be a sign that something is up with your Apple ID. If the connection made by your Apple ID between your iPhone and the App Store gets disrupted, sometimes simply signing out and signing back in will fix it. To do that, tap Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > Sign Out.
Paid apps have their prices in place of “Get.” On Android, free apps have an “Install” button, while paid apps show the price and “Buy.” Free Android apps may also have in-app purchases. To find free apps on iOS, open the App Store and tap Apps at the bottom of the screen.
With your current ID you do, unless you redeem an iTunes gift card. If you set it up with a credit card, you can then go into settings>itunes and app store>click on the apple id> view account> and change payment type to none.
Open the App Store app → select free app → tap on Get → When asked to sign in with an Apple ID, tap Create New Apple ID → Go ahead with the onscreen instructions → None when you are asked to select a payment method. You can't see None option when using the Apple ID account page to set your payment method.
