Cosmo and her family's names are derived from astronomical terms (Cosmos, Galaxy, Earth, etc). The seed that Cosmo was turned into that later became a sprout in the pot in Tails' workshop has appeared in his game counterpart's workshop in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, and in 2021 artwork for Sonic Channel.

Miles "Tails" Prower - Tails is a Fox the cute little boy Prower with Sonic's little bro from Sonic Underground. Just then, Tails appear meet Sonic, Manic and Sonia the Hedgehogs and he is very surprised them and he can stay with them together again.
Sonic. EXE is an eldritch entity taking on the form of Sonic the Hedgehog that sends out a haunted game disc featuring the creature killing the main Sonic characters, eventually leading him to rip out the soul of his victim and making them his slave.
Conquering all of Mobius within one year's time, he brought about unity and peace, though at the cost of brutal enforcement by the Dark Presence. He married Sally Acorn, who managed to bring some ease to his brutal leadership.
While that game did a ton of weird stuff, perhaps the weirdest thing it did was have Sonic potentially fall in love with the magical human Princess Elyse. This romance inevitably ends with the two engaged in a bizarre, confusing kiss.
At the end, when Sonic approaches her, she does not hug him and lets him rest. The two interact without making Sonic feel awkward thus Amy no longer just tries to hug and kiss Sonic when she's with him.
