Computer viruses that affect the keyboard are considered malicious viruses. This type of virus is rare since no perceptible advantage results to the creator of the virus in interfering with keyboard functions. Keyboards are hardware and are not truly infected with viruses.
How to change your keyboard
- Open the Settings on your phone.
- Scroll down and tap System.
- Tap Languages & input.

To unlock the keyboard, you have to hold down the right SHIFT key for 8 seconds again to turn off Filter Keys, or disable Filter Keys from the Control Panel.
