Locate the run in the "Activity" tab of the app if you want to adjust the distance at another time. Tap the run and then tap the "Calibrate" button and enter the correct distance. Contact Nike+ to edit any other incorrect information.

It depends on what you're referring to. 1) If you have a device that has built-in GPS (Ionic or Surge), or a device that can get GPS data from your phone (called “Connected GPS” and enabled on the Blaze and Charge 2), the distance tracking for outdoor exercise if using the workout mode will be highly accurate.
A 2011 study of location accuracy for smartphones using A-GPS averaged out a range of 5 to 8 meters, according to the National Institutes of Health. That's only slightly worse than the currently advertised +/-3 meters for GPS watches.
Go to your location by clicking the arrow icon or enter an address to begin. Alternatively zoom and drag the map using the map controls to pinpoint the start of your route. Draw your walking or running route by clicking on the map to set the starting point.
I went 5 miles on the dot, averaging ~10 minute miles during the running portion. Nike Run Club tracked all this correctly, but seems to think I only burned 237 calories. That seems WAY too low. When I manually enter it into MyFitnessPal it estimates 470 calories JUST for the 40 minutes of running.
Nike has updated its Nike Run Club app to include new interface tweaks and post-run metrics including cadence and fastest mile. NRC and Data Precision

It's not as accurate as it used to be. I run the same route everyday but my distance can vary as much as . 4 of a mile each time. Also it freezes quite often and loses contact with my watch quite often.

HOW DO I SHARE MY RUN ON SOCIAL MEDIA WITH MY NIKE RUN CLUB APP?
- Head to the Activity tab.
- Select the run you'd like to share.
- Tap “Share your run.”
- Customize a photo or poster with stickers and run data.
- Select the social media channel you prefer.
Once you have completed a run, you'll have to share it to the feed. Then it will ask you to share again and then you can select which social media you'd like to share you run on.
