I go for the ribeye almost every time I eat at Ruth's Chris. Ribeyes are more tender than a NY strip but have more chew than a filet. They are also the richest cut of steak. Full of intramuscular fat, ribeyes pack a bunch of flavor in each bite.
Hi Davon, you could easily spend $50 to $75 per person on appetizer. Please note most items are a la carte. The Ruth's classic Price Fixe options are truly worth it. If you are planning on a bottle of wine, please add a minimum of $60 or more for the bottle.

We arrived during the Early Bird Special (between 5-6pm). For $40, you get a choice of salad, choice of entree (from a limited selection) and choice of side.
First, Ruth's Chris does not serve dry-aged beef - only wet-aged. You can actually cook better steaks at your house. You can buy wet-aged beef and dry-age them at home. They do, however, serve USDA Prime Grade beef - the highest grade awarded to beef by the USDA.
An 11-ounce filet is about 2 inches thick. Sides are shareable and tasty.
Polo shirts and slacks are acceptable but please do not wear shorts or tee shirts, you will only be embarrassing yourself and not giving this very fine restaurant the respect it deserves. Proper shoes are expected, so please no flip flops! This is kind of how I feel about Ruth's Chris.

15 answers. Although kids are welcomed at Ruth Chis nationwide, I would not recommend it, This one is located in a a Casino after all. over a year ago. Ruth's Chris is more appropriate for a night out with your true love or perhaps a celebration.

Your business casual jeans should be hemmed properly. If ever there was a pair of jeans to “dress up” it is a pair of dark denim. With a complete lack of fade ad signs of wear, they complement a blazer very well. (Speaking of dark jeans as dressy, don't forget that black denim is your in-between dress pant.)

Ruth's Cris does not use a salamander to cook their steaks. They use a sear and broil technique that involves an underfired infrared oven that at the heating element is 1500 to 1800 degrees. At the cooking plane (where the steak is ) the temp is 750 which many feel is the ideal temp to broil a steak.
And, when churrasco is being served, the skewer never so much as touches the tip of the service plate. Tip: Tipping is a common practice in Brazil, but the average tip tends to be around 10 percent (versus 15 – 20 percent in the United States).
