The username or password you are entering may be incorrect. If you do not remember your username or password: Retrieve your username from the Webex site and reset your password, then try logging in.
Your free Webex plan gives you meetings with 100 participants, HD video, screen sharing, and a personal room. Use it as long as you like.
You don't need a Webex account to join meetings that you're invited to. You do need an email invitation that provides the information you need to join the meeting.
To reset your username and/or password:
- Go to your Webex site. (
- In Classic View, Click on Host Log In or Log In, in the upper-right.
- Click Forgot your username or password?.
- Enter your host account Email address.
- If required, enter the CAPTCHA into the field.
- Click Submit or OK.
On the "Which Webex site do you want to use" screen, select msubillings-student.webex.com if you are a student or msubillings.webex.com if you are a staff or faculty member and then click Next.
A Webex meeting is an online meeting that allows you to virtually meet with other people, without leaving your home or office. Webex meetings require a computer with Internet access and a separate phone line. By calling into the conference phone number, you will be able to hear the presenter and other participants.
How to add Webex to Outlook
- Click the "Download" icon on the left side of the page to find the Webex plugin.
- Find the Cisco Webex Productivity Tools and click "Download."
- When you create your meeting, click "Add Webex Meeting" to automatically insert all the information your attendees need to join the meeting.

iOS users can now sign into their Webex Meetings mobile app using their Apple ID on their iPhone or iPad. This cool, new feature is a streamlined sign-in option for iPhone/iPad users!
You can join a Webex meeting from your iPhone, iPad, or Android device. Before you get started, install the Webex app for iOS or the Webex app for Android.
In the Webex Meetings Desktop App section, select your your operating system from the drop-down menu. Click on the Download button. In the window that appears, Save the file to your desktop. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
Navigate to webex.com.
- On the top right corner, click on the Join a meeting button.
- Enter the meeting, session, or event number into the Enter the meeting information field, then press Enter on the keyboard.
- Enter the meeting password.
- Enter your name and email address.
Check that you're ready by joining a test meeting. Go to webex.com/test-meeting.html. Enter your name and email address, and then click Join . If you don't already have the app installed, you'll be prompted to click the installer file.
Dial in to your WebEx meeting
- Choose a number to dial in to: - Select one of the numbers provided in the 'Call' section, or. - Click View global numbers for a list of all available dial-in numbers.
- Dial the chosen number from your phone and, when prompted, enter the access code as displayed.
- Enter your Attendee ID.
Dial one of the phone numbers. Enter the access code of the meeting and press #. When prompted for an attendee code, press #. When prompted for the host PIN, enter the host PIN and press #.
Based on consumer feedback, Zoom is more user-friendly as compared to Webex. Zoom allows users to instantly join an online video conference or meeting, with common features across all devices. Webex requires a more lengthy registration and checkin process compared to Zoom. With Zoom you're into your meeting faster.
When scheduling the meeting click Use address book…. In the pop-up window select Personal Contacts from the drop menu and then click New Contact…. Enter a name and email address and click Add… Then click the name and invite as an Alternative Host and click OK…..
An alternate host can start, manage, and record the meeting for you, but can't edit or cancel the meeting. If an alternate host records the meeting, the recording appears in your list of recordings.
Can someone else start my WebEx meeting? Webex enables you to schedule and start meetings on someone else's behalf. You, as the scheduler, must also have a host account and have permission to schedule meetings as host in the site of the other host.
With 'Join before Host' enabled, attendees can join the meeting without the host being in attendance. Enabling this setting can result in unintended consequences including misuse of teleconferencing minutes. This setting only applies to standard Webex sites.
