Reviewing current or past employers is not mandatory. To keep information anonymous, we suggest that you do not include any personally identifiable information, such as your own name or names of co-workers, in your review. All reviews are subject to Indeed's guidelines.
Once your resume is on Indeed, you can choose to make it “Public” or “Private.” There are benefits to both options. When you make your resume public, it is visible to anyone. When you make your resume private, employers cannot find your resume, so they cannot contact you if they think you might be right for a job.
how does indeed work? with the resume and all. If your qualifications interest the company, the company will contact you via the email address or phone number that's on your resume. It will be a direct contact, not through Indeed.
It works, just that companies have way more ads than actual hires. Don't blame indeed.com that you are not getting jobs. That is only a platform that pulls jobs from many other job sites into one place. It could be for a number of reasons why you, or people you know, haven't gotten a job by applying on indeed.com.
If you wish to keep your entire resume hidden – click the 'edit resume' button located to the right of your resume, then click the 'edit privacy settings' link (located to the right), then click 'private'. You can change your resume's visibility or remove it completely at any time.
Employers cannot see how many jobs you applied to on Indeed.
Indeed works hard to ensure the content of our Company Pages meets all of our Community Guidelines. To do this, review moderators analyze every company page review before it is published on the site. If you don't see your review posted after a few days, it may not have been approved.
The “Private” setting differs in that your resume is not searchable, and again, your personal contact information is shared only when you submit an application. Storing your personal information on Indeed is as safe as with most other reputable online services or businesses that have your personal information.
To begin responding to your company reviews, you'll first need to claim your Indeed Company Page. Search for your company and select “Business Owner?” on the Company Page. Once you've been verified, navigate to the Reviews tab. There, you'll be able to leave your responses to the reviews people have written.

Click on the "Reviews" link at the top of the company page. Find your review. Next to your review there will be a link to delete it. Click on this button to remove your review from the page.

3 Ways to Recruit Candidates for a Confidential Search
- Retain a Recruiter. One of the problems you will run into with a confidential search is that it will take up much more time to identify top talent.
- Search for Candidates. If you decide not to retain a recruiter, this means that you will need to handle the entire candidate search.
- Video Interviews.
You can do so by searching for the employer's Company Reviews page. On the left where it says Find Companies, search for the employer you would like to review. You will then see the option to write a review. You are welcome to post your honest, objective feedback for the company on this page.
To make a Job confidential, select "Confidential Job" from the New Jobs dropdown menu. You can also create or edit a job posting as you normally would and simply check the box for “Post Job Confidentially” which is at the top of the job creation/editing form in the “Description” section.
