We're sorry, but Booking.com does not currently offer a live web chat service. If you're a Booking.com accommodation partner, you can contact us via one of these options for further assistance.
You can cancel it if you wish, but you will not receive a refund. I think its the hotels themselves who set the rules for their hotels deals, either non-refundable or Free Cancellation. You could try contacting booking.com, but be prepared for them to say its non-refundable and they can not do anything for you.
Unfortunately, if you chose and booked a non-refundable hotel on any website then "non-refundable" means just that. People often have the choice to booked the cheaper non-refundable deal, or often a slightly higher priced one offering Free Cancellation up until a specific time and date before arrival.
Just follow the steps below:
- Go to your extranet 'Inbox' tab and select 'Booking.com messages'.
- Click on 'Compose new message' and choose Property details' as the topic.
- Include your new address and the reason for the change*.
- We'll contact you within 2-5 days to let you know the change has been completed.
Go to Manage your booking and enter your email address and booking reference if you want to: See whether your booking has been confirmed. Contact the owner. Edit or cancel your booking request (you'll need to contact the owner to ask them to do this)
At my hotel nobody can be given access to a room in someone else's name. Most hotels will have a similar policy and require a credit card and photo ID matching the name on the reservation in order to check in. An easy solution would be to call ahead and add their name to the reservation.
When you book a room on Booking.com, you get a confirmation email. In this letter, you have a button “Cancel Booking”. Click the button and you will get to the page with the details of the booking. At the bottom of the page, you will see the red button “Cancel Booking”.
If you need to talk to a live person in Booking.com customer service you need to dial 1-888-850-3958 phone number. To speak with a live representative, you need to stay on a line (waiting time is about 10 minutes). While you are waiting, the system will describe various features of Booking.com online booking system.
When you get there tell them that the rest of your party will be checking in and will need use their own credit card. give them the name of whoever you "give" the room to it will be no biggie. If they keep the room reserved under your name then make sure whoever has the room knows your name.
It is entirely legal to check into a hotel under a different name. The hotel may need confirmation of your actual identity but they will adhere to the name that you have registered in when booking your room. This is the name you will register in at your hotel.
The answer is they don't and if the hotel is smart, they won't let you check in unless the person paying for the room has signed ahead of time a credit card authorization form, complete with their full mailing address, contact information, copies of the front and back of the credit card and a photo ID, with a signature

When you make a booking, you will receive a Confirmation Email. In the email is a link to Agoda's Self Service. For existing bookings, you can now: Change your dates, Make a Special Request, Cancel your Booking or Request a copy of your Hotel Voucher.
If you are a guest and you need to change or remove a review you need to: Contact Booking.com by phone (here you find the phone number for your country) or login in your account. Booking.com will send an email where you as a guest can re submit the review that will substitute the old one.
You can cancel the booking for free only in case you chose this option in advance. Booking.com often offers free cancellation. If you decided to cancel booking one day before the check-in, the hotel will charge the money from the card you entered when making the reservation.
There are a few different places you can check your reservations:
- The 'Reservations' tab in the extranet.
- The search box in your extranet where you can find reservations using keywords, like the guest's name, for example.
- The 'Bookings' tab in the Pulse app.
