Can you complete the companion's quest line without becoming a werewolf? Becoming a werewolf is a mandatory part of the questline. However, remaining a werewolf is optional. You will have an opportunity to cure yourself late in the questline, when you're getting the cure for another member of the group.
Most of the Thieves Guild "aren't the marrying type." Nor the Dark Brotherhood, but you can marry Muiri who sent you to go kill her boyfriend or whatever.
Sadly, there is no quest to destroy the Thieves Guild in Skyrim.
If you were reckless, and killed a lot of people while on a quest for the guild, they may see you as a traitor, or someone out to give them a bad name. Alternatively, you can be kicked out of the guild for stealing from the Black-Briar family who supports the guild.
Yes, you can still join them as a werewolf. The Dawnguard, as an organization, are completely dedicated to hunting down vampires. Being a werewolf doesn't matter to them in the slightest. As long as you're not a vampire, they're okay with you joining up.
After attacking Whiterun with the Stormcloaks, all of the Companions will run towards the Dragonborn with their swords drawn like they are going to attack. Then a dialogue will be forced. When joining the Companions and speaking to Kodlak Whitemane, he says he will talk with Vilkas about the Dragonborn's request.
4 Answers. There is no way to leave the Companions. Jorrvaskr 4 Life, yo. You can also go on with both of those guild's questlines while being a member of both guilds.
Anyway, as for your Whiterun house. . you won't lose it, but the front door DOES become locked when the attack starts. . .so make sure you didn't leave the house key inside the house or you'll never get back inside.
If you have completed the quest line for the Dark Brotherhood, and Cicerio is still alive at that point, he will indeed become a Follower. Leaving him alive thus results in more benefits for youYou don't get another chance to kill him. After the quest if he's still alive Cicero becomes essential again.
J'zargo is one of the two Khajiit in the whole game who can become a follower. Unlike Onmund and Brelyna Maryon, J'zargo cannot become a steward or be married.
Farkas has a much better attitude, doesn't babble on at the ceremony and is just generally less annoying. Also the whole "big tough warrior with the deep love" thing is awesome. But he's weak and talks a lot about bashing things. Vilkas is more romantic, intelligent and far stronger.
The best person and the cheapest, is found in Markarth:
- At the Silver Blood Inn, challenge Cosnach to a fist fight.
- Win 200 septims (100 plus your 100 wager)
- Speak to him, and ask him to do something.
- Highlight cursor on Shrine (must say Activate Pillar of Sacrifice)
She can be asked to move to a different house, if a house other than Breezehome is owned. Like all the other candidates for marriage, she will cook a Homecooked Meal once a day that regenerates Stamina, Health, and Magicka. She can only be married once Breezehome has been purchased.
Returning LycanthropyIn Dawnguard, Aela is able to give lycanthropy again, if the Dragonborn decides to cure it in favor of vampirism.
Aela can only be killed by you. Like all companions, other NPCs will only knock her out. If you deal the killing blow, however, she will die.
Before you can marry Aela the Huntress, you need to join The Companions guild and become a werewolf yourself. Learn how to join The Companions here with our quick and easy guide. When you're officially a Companion and a lycanthrope, move on to the Blood's Honor quest.
Werewolf/Beast Form is better to have than Vampire Lord form. Werewolves are stronger faster and better in every way. If your fighting in werewolf form don't stand toe to toe use the speed you have and run around them while swiping and you will destroy them faster while taking less damage.
As soon as you finish the companions questline, have Harkon turn you, then you'll be a vampire lord like you want.
In terms of keeping peace, you're better off joining the Imperials. The Stormcloaks are a small band of rebels whose only goal is for Skyrim to be free of foreign rule, to allow Talos worship in Skyrim, and to see Ulfric Stormcloak be crowned the High King.
Being a werewolf has no cons other than no sleep bonus, which is crap anyway, sleep is for the weak. Pros: immune to disease and you get the ability to turn into a werewolf anytime you want once a day, or never at all because you don't have to use it.
Curing LycanthropyThe Dragonborn may cure themselves at any time by taking a Glenmoril Witch Head back to Ysgramor's Tomb, activating the Flame of the Harbinger and defeating their beast spirit.
No, it's not possible. The bigger thing I'd worry about is that the Thalmor have a habit of winding up on everyone's bad side. The Thalmor have an embassy and a keep up north, a few agents scattered about (some giving minor quests), and some in the countryside that will attack you if messed with or even on sight.
No, these quests do not end. These are simply due to the Radiant A.I., and never ending quests. Also, as the Harbinger, you're not the leader, it would be better described as an adviser to the council of Companions. The Companions have not had a leader since Ysgrimor thousands of years before the game of Skyrim.
The strongholds are for Orcs only, but the Dragonborn can be granted entry if they complete any of the qualifying tasks. If the Dragonborn is an Orc, access will be granted automatically.
