Here's the step by step way of rotating your clips:
- Open the file.
- Choose Edit > Select All.
- Then go to Video > Filters.
- Select Add.
- From the list, choose Rotate.
- Choose the option you want (Rotate left, right, 180) and select it.
- The video should then display in two versions, one landscape, one portrait.
Click Browse for Images and select the picture you want to mirror. You can also just drag and drop it into the working area. Open the Rotate tab and use one of the buttons in the Flip section: the left button will flip your image horizontally, and the right button, vertically. Click the Save button.
- Open the video or project in Windows Live Movie Maker.
- Go to the "Home" tab.
- In the tool bar at the top look in the "Editing" group. There you will see Rotate Left and Rotate Right icons. Click on either of them until your video is the correct orientation.
To rotate a video, tap on it so that it is outlined in yellow, then tap “Select” in the upper-right corner. Now, simply use the buttons at the bottom to fix your video. These buttons will let you rotate left, right, reverse, and flip it vertically. When you're satisfied, tap “Export” in the upper-right corner.
On the Adjustments and Effects dialog, you will have to click on the Video Effects tab and then press the Geometry tab. Now, you will be able to adjust the video's orientation in two ways; the easiest one is to check the Transform box and choose Rotate by 180 degrees from the drop-down menu.
Open the Video Effects tab, and then click on the Colors or Color Fun tab, depending on the version of VLC you have. Make sure that the Invert Colors or Negate Colors checkbox is marked and the video will automatically be inverted.
Next, create a new project in iMovie and upload your vertical video. You then have to rotate your clip 90 degrees so that it's horizontal (otherwise, iMovie will add black borders to the sides of your video). To do this, click the crop button and then rotate either left or right.
Just click on the center to open the file browser or take a video from the camera. Two sliders, one at each side, are available to select starting and ending frame. The corresponding frame is shown as you move the slider. Only the video between the two sliders will be flipped and the rest will be discarded.
With the trimming out of the way (or if you don't need to trim at all), take a closer look at the bottom of the screen: there's a button that reads “Rotate.” Tap it. Poof! Like magic, the video rotates. Just keep tapping this button until the orientation is correct.
Choose Tools from the Menu bar and select Effects and Filters. Click the Video Effects tab, then click the Geometry tab. Place a checkmark in the Transform checkbox and choose your degrees of rotation. Now you can enjoy your video the way it was intended to be viewed.
It's free and easy to use. Get started by uploading the video that you want to rotate. Then, use the buttons in the "Rotate" section to rotate 90 degrees or mirror the video across a vertical or horizontal axis. When the preview looks right, click "Export" to download your Rotated MP4.
Download and install it from Google Play. You will be taken to its main interface once launching the app, then tab 'Flip Video' module and import the video you want to flip. If you want to flip horizontal video on Android, just select 'Flip Horizontal' and hit 'Done' button. You can trim the flipped video as you want.
To convert portrait video to landscape, we should log in the web first.
- Click Convert tab, hit Select files to Convert and browse for the video.
- Click Edit button to open the Advanced Settings window, go to find Rotate Video option, from there to choose the degree to rotate the video and click OK.
