Yes. Have a word with reception and they'll be able to store your bags while you head out and explore.
Re: Is there a difference between Premier Inn and Travelodge? Premier Inns are nicer ,Travelodges are fairly basic, but if you get a good deal, Travelodges are acceptable.
Do you do room service? No, but you're welcome to enjoy your own food and drink or takeaways in your room, or the communal area.
Breakfast can be booked at the same time as you book your hotel room online, or if you prefer you can book breakfast at any time at the hotel.
Why can't I book a room for three adults or more? Premier Inn's policy doesn't allow more than two adults to a room, so you will need to book two rooms or more if you have three or more adults in your party.
Simply place your order online or via the Just Eat app, pop in the Premier Inn postcode for delivery and collect your order from the driver at reception. And enjoy!
Doing Laundry in a HotelMost (nice) hotels offer laundry service for the simple reason that it's a big money maker. Don't get me wrong, hotel laundry service can be a fantastic way to maximize your time in a destination without adding to your packing list, but you're gonna pay for it.
With a laundry service, you get back all the time involved in the two or three washer and dryer cycles you'll run on laundry day. Your laundry service will fold your clothes too, taking another chore off your hands. If you can't keep up with your laundry load, a laundry service can give you back all that invested time.
Step 1. Obtain a laundry bag from the hotel, which is usually already in your hotel room; however, if your room doesn't have one, simply ask the front desk or a hotel staff for a bag.
How to Handle Guest's Laundry Request
- Always greet the guest with a pleasant voice (“Good morning Mr Jones”)
- Always identify the department and yourself (“Laundry department, Mary speaking”)
- Advise the guest of when the items will be collected.
laundry service in HospitalityA laundry service is a service in a hotel that washes and irons clothes for guests. Almost all hotels have a laundry service. If you hand in clothes one day you should get them back a day or two later. The laundry service will wash, dry, and iron your clothes.
Just put a sheet in the washer and then put same sheet into the dryer with the clothes. You can get these at Amazon and sometimes the Purex sheets are available at Walmart or Target. They are flat, easy to pack in a zip-lock and won't explode or leak.
The simple answer is yes. You can actually use your body wash to complete your laundry chores. After all, it leaves the clothes smelling fresh. However, it may not have the stain-removing enzymes, thus it may not work effectively if some of the clothes are stained.
Fill the Sink with Warm, Soapy WaterWhile filling the sink with water, add a few drops of a mild detergent or dish washing liquid. The soap is concentrated, so a few drops will be enough to hand wash your clothes.
Each room also has a full-length mirror, a hairdryer, hanging space for clothes and global plug sockets (both European and UK). We've even thrown in complimentary shower gel and a bottle of still mineral water. You'll also find one towel per guest, ask for more if you need them.
As a low cost hotel chain, Premier Inn does not offer fridges in the rooms. Please be aware however, that your chosen hotel's reception team may be able to store items such as medication for you.
Our Smart TV gives you internet access, apps, games, catch-up TV and a selection of free films alongside all the regular TV channels. If you've missed a must-see movie at the cinema, chances are you can catch it on this 40" Smart TV instead.
More convenienceAll Premier Plus rooms are in their own dedicated space of the hotel and come with a mini-fridge and complimentary water, a Nespresso machine with coffee pods and a variety of tea bags, a selection of sweet treats, and an iron and ironing board.
Our twin rooms are designed to be as flexible as possible – so they come in different formats. Most feature a super-comfy double or kingsize* Hypnos bed plus a single sofa bed. The rest have two double or kingsize* Hypnos beds. To find out more, speak to your hotel direct.
There are no safes in the rooms, but security is very good in Premier Inns, as you need your keycard to access beyond the public areas, i.e. to the rooms. As mentioned luggage can be left in locked room and valuables at reception.
Using electronic cigarettes is not permitted inside our Premier Inn hotels. Please use the designated smoking areas provided.
Take your pick from four standard bed sizes – Single, Double, King or Super King. You can buy just the mattress on its own, or the mattress with a choice of two divan bases – one with no drawers and one with two drawers on either side of the foot end.
The uninspired room decor of the Premier Inn is a theme throughout the hotel chain, with purple carpeting, wood furniture, and off-white walls throughout. Note that the Quad Family Rooms are cramped for four people, with two twin beds placed directly next to the double bed.
