There are several ways to back up your PC.
- Select the Start button, then select Control Panel > Systemand Maintenance > Backup and Restore.
- Do one of the following: If you've never used Windows Backupbefore, or recently upgraded your version of Windows, select Set upbackup, and then follow the steps in the wizard.

Windows will restart your PC and begin therestore process. It can take a while for SystemRestore to reinstate all those files–plan for at least 15minutes, possibly more–but when your PC comes back up, you'llbe running at your selected restore point.
By default, File History will be set to backup back up important folders in your user account's homefolder. This includes the Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music,Pictures, Videos folders.
