A little hot but the fans aren't nearly as bad as with other games. It's optimised really well for macs!! Honestly if you're using one of the newer MacBook Pro's, you should be fine! I play The Sims 4 on an older model from 2011 and it runs beautifully.
The MacBook Pro is made of aluminum, and this is the reason why it becomes quite hot quickly when you run a heavy app like games. Games need that the CPU and the GPU work hard, and they are the parts that generate more heat. To keep your MacBook cool, fans should turn on automatically.
The Sims 4 was specifically designed with performance in mind. The Macbook Air being a high performance laptop, it should not have any problem running the game.
Re: 2019 Macbook Pro 13" run Sims 4? You will be able to play well though and if high graphics isn't that important to you and you won't be playing all the time, you'll be fine. Apple have significantly improved them with the quad core CPUs and they now have dual fans for better cooling too.
You can play Android and iOS games such as The Sims Free Play on your desktop and laptop computers, whether Mac or PC for free. This is possible with an Android app player or emulator, and although there are many out there, currently the best one and free is Bluestacks.
The Sims 4 for Mac is a digital-only release. The installation discs in all packaged editions of The Sims 4 are not Mac compatible, but players who buy a packaged PC-only version can still redeem the code in the box to access the Mac version through Origin. Re: Which MacBook is best for Sims 4? Macbook Airs are not gaming computers to be honest and would struggle to run the game. I would opt for the MacBook Pro and make sure you have at least 8GB of RAM, more if you can afford it.
As far as I am aware, there are currently no plans to release the trial or CAS demo for Mac, sorry. But if you buy the game on Mac, you can automatically play it on Widows as well.

Re: Sims Medieval Won't Launch on MacOpen Origin, click on Origin in the menu bar then Preferences then Installs & Saves. Click on Browse Installers then look for the Medieval installer in the Finder window that pops up, it will be a . dmg file. Double click on it to launch the installer.

Exec files are Windows executable which are not capable of being run on a Mac unless you have Windows installed.
