Trek is comparably priced to all other bikes. In my area, they tend to run maybe 10% more. The expertise at our particular Trek store is probably worth it all by it's self. I never had an interest in taking, but a shop run by a tour winning cyclist must be worth something to weight weenies.

In summary, if you want to push yourself while climbing high mountain passes or if you're in it to compete rather than being a “finisher”, you should go for the Ultimate. If what you want is to rack up on miles prioritising comfort without compromising on performance, the Endurance is for you.
In fact, the Canyon's frame is exceptionally comfortable for a performance carbon fibre road bike. It's marginally less compliant than other top end bikes such as the Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL6 or the Cannondale SuperSix Evo but it still offers all day comfort and retains a lively feel.
You'll need to assemble the front wheel, pedals, handlebar and seat yourself, you'll also have to check the brakes and gear system.

When you've chosen your bike, taking it away is simple and easy. You can be on your way in under 30 minutes or we candeliver it directly to you. Decathlon has fully trained staff using quality tools and equipment to build each bike up to a high standard.
Expect at around $150 for a basic rebuild with new seals, o-rings, oil, nitrogen, charge, bushings, etc, few dollars more for a custom tune, which is usually a good investment. Looks like it's around $180 for the same fork treatment, new bushings, seals, oil service, replacement of any other worn parts, etc.
To the surprise of many novice riders, mountain bikes can get pretty pricey. It's not uncommon for new models to cost a few thousand dollars or more. In fact, a handful of high-caliber bikes cost upwards of $10,000.
Because road bikes are relatively simple machines they're not too hard to build yourself if you're so inclined. However, some sort of guidebook is an absolute must until you know what you're doing. Can I customise my bike when I order? All Canyon bikes are shipped as illustrated and described – selecting alternative component configurations is not currently possible. To change your bike's fit, just swap out the stem during assembly.
They never come tubeless because of shipping, but they will come taped with valves in the box. Tubes off, fit valves, add sealant and your golden. Thanks.
