Android
- Open Chrome.
- Go to the webpage you want to bookmark.
- Select the “Menu†icon (3 Vertical dots)
- Select the “Add Bookmark" icon (Star)
- A bookmark is automatically created and saved to your “Mobile Bookmarks†folder.
Locate the grey “gear†icon on your iPad and tap it. In Settings, scroll through the list and tap “Safari.†In Safari settings, find the “General†section. In that section, you'll see a switch labeled “Show Favorites Bar.†Flip the switch beside it to turn it on.
Open Safari. In the menu bar at the top, click the “File†menu. Select “Import From†and click either the browser of your choice for synchronization or “BookmarksHTML fileâ€. If you choose synchronization, select the “Bookmarks†checkbox in the following dialog and then click “Importâ€.
Search for "bookmarks. In Chrome, go to Settings > Advanced sync settings (under the Sign in section) and change the sync settings so that Bookmarks aren't synced, if they currently are set to sync. Close Chrome. Back in the Chrome user data folder, find another "Bookmarks" file without an extension.
1 Create Bookmark (Safari)
- Open Safari.
- Browse to the page you want to bookmark.
- Touch and hold the Favorites button at the bottom.
- Select Add Bookmark from the menu.
- Give your bookmark a name, then select Save at the top right.
Add Chrome bookmarks to the Android home screenLaunch Chrome for Android and open the website or web page you want to pin to your home screen. Tap the menu button and tap Add to homescreen. You'll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
When you add a bookmark to Favorites, its icon appears on your screen every time you open a new Safari tab. A drop down box with your favorites also appears when you tap into the search field. You can open a favorite by touching the icon. Your other basic location option is a folder called Bookmarks.
Open Chrome quickly on iPhone or iPad
- On the home screen of your iPhone or iPad, swipe right until you see a list of widgets.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Edit.
- Under "More widgets," to the left of Chrome - Quick Actions, tap Add .
- In the top right, tap Done. You should see Chrome shortcuts in the Today view.

- Tap the bookmarks button in Safari on the top (looks like an open book).
- Tap Edit (bottom right corner of the bookmarks pane.
- Tap New Folder (bottom right corner) to create the folders you want.
For the most part, the bookmarks feature can usually be identified by a star-shaped icon located on the right side of your browser's main search bar. Usually, the star icon will either change color or show some sort of animation once you've selected it.

- From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon > (Google) > Chrome . If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap Chrome .
- Tap the Menu icon (upper-right).
- Tap the Add bookmark icon. (at the top).
Add Website to iPad Home Screen
- Navigate to a webpage in Safari.
- Tap the "Share" icon (the box with an arrow pointing out of the top).
- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen."
- Tap the shortcut name if you want to edit it. The keyboard opens automatically.
- Tap "Add" to close the Add to Home Screen window.
How to Create a Website Link on Your Home Screen
- Launch Safari on your ‌iPhone‌ or ‌iPad‌.
- Navigate to the site that you want to create a Home screen shortcut to.
- Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing out of it) at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down to the list of actions and tap Add to Home Screen. (
Navigate to the icon or app you want moved to the desktop of your iPad. Press and hold on the icon until the icon starts jiggling. Drag the icon left or right toward your Home screen, and place the icon in its desired location. Release your finger from the screen of your iPad.
On Android
- Step 1: Visit the website. The first thing to do is visit the page that interests you save as shortcut icon.
- Step 2: Open the menu. When we have the page loaded, click on the icon at the top right of your screen (1st picture) party to leave the menu with all available options.
- Step 3: Add it as a shortcut.
Android devices
- Open the Google Chrome web browser.
- Use the address bar at the top of the screen to navigate to the web page you'd like to bookmark.
- In the upper-right corner of the browser, tap the. icon.
- At the top of the screen, tap the star icon.
