Auto ISO is a feature, common to most digitalcameras, that allows the camera to automatically pick an ISOfor each shot. In Shutter Priority, you can pick the optimumshutter speed for your subject, and let the camera pick theaperture and ISO.
Exposure mode:
Represented by the letters “P” (programmedauto), “S” (shutter-priority auto), “A”(aperture-priority auto), or “M”(manual).Changing lens aperture in Manual mode is alittle tricky. First, make sure that the dial on the top of thecamera is set to “M” position. Next, press and hold the+/- button located right below the camera shutter, then rotate therear command dial to change aperture.
(Focal-STOP) The f-stop is the"aperture" opening of a camera lens, which allows light to come in.It also determines how much is in focus in front of and behind thesubject (see depth of field).
Like a number of other entry-level Nikon DSLRs,the D60 has no in-body autofocus motor, and fullyautomatic autofocus requires the use of a lens with anintegrated autofocus-motor. With any other lenses thecamera's electronic rangefinder can be used to manually adjustfocus.
To restoring Nikon D60 to its factory settings, just hold down the [Playback zoom in] button and the [ActiveD-Lighting] button together, until the control panel turns offbriefly while the camera resets itself to the factory defaultsettings.
Setting the D60 to Manual mode permitsaccess to both shutter speed and aperture sizesetting. The shutter speed can be adjusted from1/4000 to 30 seconds using the command dial in the upper rightcorner of the camera back, easily operated with yourthumb.
How can I make a video with my Nikon D60?The D60 can produce 'stop motion' movies (in AVI format)from a bunch of stills (up to 100 in one go}. This was one of thefirst DSLRs to begin video recording.
To access both settings, press theAF-mode button. Rotate the Main command dial to setthe Focus mode, and rotate the Sub-command dial tochange the AF-area mode.
ISO or light sensitivity rating is analgorithmic value that indicates the film's or the image sensor'sspecific sensitivity to light. The ISO values on aroll of film or ISO setting on a digital camera are theseindicators.
To restore default shutter speed and aperturesettings, rotate the main command dial until the indicator is nolonger displayed, choose another mode, or turn the camera off. Tochoose a shutter speed, rotate the main command dial whilethe exposure meters are on.
Look for two green dots on Nikon's camera body.Press both buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds until control panelturns off briefly while the camera resets itself to the factorydefault settings." The 2 button reset is available on allNikon cameras and is mentioned regularly on the Nikonforums.

Nikon D7500 – Image Quality
As usual, you'll get the best possible results in termsof fine detail and noise control by carefully processing rawfiles. At their best out-of-camera JPEGs can be veryattractive. This was shot at IS0 800.Active D-Lighting optimizes high contrastimages to restore the shadow and highlight details that are oftenlost when strong lighting increases the contrast betweenbright and dark areas of an image.
