Select a Default Payment Method
- In Your Account, select Payment options.
- Next to Your default purchase preference, select Update Preference.
- Next to Payment method, select Change. You can select a payment method from your listed options, or add a new payment method under More Payment Options.
- Select Continue.
All credit and debit card transactions on Amazon require you to enter the CVV number to provide you with increased protection while making payments using your card. CVV stands for Card Verification Value and is generally the last three or 4 digits of the number present on the back of your card.
In Your Account, select Your Payments. Do one of the following: To add a payment method, select the relevant link under the payment method that you want to add. To edit or remove a payment method, select the drop-down arrow beside the relevant payment method and select Edit or Remove.
Once you set a default payment method, money you receive will automatically transfer to it. If you want to receive money to a different payment method, you'll need to change your default.

You can update the shipping address, payment method, and more, on orders that haven't entered the shipping process by visiting Your Orders in Your Account. To edit orders shipped by Amazon, select Change next to the details you want to modify (shipping address, payment method, gift options, etc.).

How To Add the Gift Card to Your Account
- Visit

E-mail gift cards or e-gift cards generally arrive within 15 minutes of ordering. Sometimes it may take up to 24 hours. Scheduled E-mail gift cards or e-gift cards will be delivered to the recipient by 5 AM on the scheduled date of delivery.
Yes you can use multiple gift cards, however you cannot allocate certain amount from one GC and certain amount from other GC and make a purchase. Instead, you can completely use funds from one GC and if order amount is still more than that, pay the balance with another GC or through any valid payment options.
Splitting payment methods
- Go to the Retail screen and look up the purchasing client.
- Select the items and add them to the ticket.
- Select the first payment method (e.g., Account).
- Select the second payment method (e.g., Credit Card).
- Adjust the price in both fields.
- Complete the sale.
How To Use A Visa Gift Card On Amazon
- Go to Amazon's 'Reload Your Balance' page.
- Enter the amount on your Visa gift card.
- Sign in to your account; this step is required even if you're already logged into your Amazon account.

If the item you have ordered isn't shipped by Amazon, you might not be able to change the shipping address. If the option to change the address isn't there, you'll need to request a cancellation and order the item again for the correct address.
To add and manage your addresses:
- Go to Your Addresses.
- Do one of the following: To add a new address, select Add address. You'll be asked to confirm your payment card number the next time you place an order using the new or edited address.
Click on “Browsing History” in the top left of your screen. If you want to delete a specific item from your browsing history, click on “remove from view” underneath the product. To delete bank account information, just follow these steps:

Go to Manage Your Content and Devices. Select Preferences. Under Digital Payment Settings click Edit Payment Method. Select a different payment method from the list or add a new one and click Continue.
In the “Ordering and Shopping Preferences” box, click “1-Click Settings.” The link that you just clicked was a shortcut to the Your Account > Your Payments > Settings > Your Purchase Preferences page. On this page, click the “Disable 1-Click Everywhere” link located in the box near the upper-right corner of the page.
