IB is not worth it. Plus it is more preparing and effective as doing middle years AND IB since there is a consistency of rigorous course work. So in all IB is actually harder than in AP, as some of my students have also admitted. Not saying AP is worse.

In A Level you need 90% in standardised marks to get an A* - that is clearly not easy either! There are THREE types of maths in the IB. It is a lot easier than Maths SL – in fact you can probably say that you will score 3 points higher on the studies SL exam than the SL exam with the same effort and ability.
Yes, Econ HL is much more difficult compared to Business HL. Econ HL is more rigid and is more similar to math than Business whereas answers/ IAs in Business are scored very much complacently as it is subjective area of study.
To get a 40+ most of your subjects would need to be 6s or 7s (as someone pointed out, for most subjects the average is between 4 and 5). The way the grade boundaries are decided make getting higher grades harder.

AP is a good option for students who like to study on their own. Additionally, IB offers higher-level and standard-level courses. IB higher level is, at some high schools, considered harder than AP. Most colleges give credit for AP exams and higher-level IB exams, but not all give credit for standard-level IB exams.
math studies is good if you don't have the foundations of the stuff you're supposed to know. i don't know your school curriculum or what you learned in class 10 but it is easy. so easy that despite me having a 68% in math last year, i now have a 97% (a 7 in IB terms).
