Cast Your Android Screen To The TV Without Using Chromecast
- Step 1: Go to the Quick Settings Tray. Swipe down on your phone to access your notification drawer.
- Step 2: Look for your Smart TV. After enabling the screencast feature, find your TV on the list of compatible devices near you that popped up.

There can be many reasons why you're not able to cast to your TV over Chromecast. The app you're using could experience an occasional bug. Your internet connection might not be transmitting enough bandwidth at any given moment.
Google Chromecast is a unique device that plugs into any TV or monitor with an HDMI port, and can stream content from your phone or computer onto the big screen. First try turning off your Chromecast by unplugging it, and while it's unplugged power off your mobile device and home router. Keep everything off for about 1 minute.
