Front Neck Depth — Start at the top of the shoulder at the neck point and draw the measuring tape diagonally to the center of your chest to the point where you want your blouse neck opening to end. Armhole Circumference — Keep arms relaxed by your side.

To measure the size of your wrist for a bracelet or watch, wrap flexible measuring tape around your wrist in the exact area where you want the item to go. Then, record the number on the tape that overlaps with its 0 end and add roughly 0.5 inches, so your watch or bracelet isn't too snug.
Use your measuring material on your own neck or the neck of another man to measure the circumference at the base of the neck.
- The measurement should be taken about an inch below the Adam's Apple.
- Place a finger underneath your measuring material to accommodate extra room and comfort for a fitted shirt collar.
Standard jacket sizes are made for standard bodies, if you are shorter or taller than average, you should measure your upper body. Measure with the tape measure from the top of your shoulder. For a blazer, measure down to the top of the thigh, for a longer coat measure to just above the knee.

There are three key measurements of adult hand size:
- length: measured from the tip of the longest finger to the crease under the palm.
- breadth: measured across the widest area where the fingers join the palm.
- circumference: measured around the palm of your dominant hand, just below the knuckles, excluding the thumb.
To measure your hips, remove your outer garments, put your feet together, and wrap a soft measuring tape straight and snug around the widest part of your hips. Your hip measurement is the point at which the end of the tape meets the remaining length.
Loose shirts at shoulder, or tight at the stomach. The largest-ever
size shirt that we made is of Chest =68 inches and Waist =74 inches.

Measure your bust, waist, and hips. You can do this by measuring around your chest for bust, around your belly button for waist, and around your hip bones for your hip measurements. Write down your numbers and keep them handy when you're ready to start buying clothes online.
Use a dollar bill to approximate the measurement of your string if you don't have a ruler or yardstick. A flat dollar bill measures 6 1/4 inches long. Folded in half it is 3 1/8 inches long. If you fold it in half again, it is almost 1 1/4 inches long.

- Measure around 3-5 cm below elbow joint perpendicular to the lower arm.

How to Measure Your Chest for Shirts
- Stand upright in front of a full-length mirror.
- Place the tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your armpits [source: Land's End].
- Make sure the tape measure isn't too loose or too tight.
- Add 2 inches (5 centimeters) to that measurement.
A 34/35 sleeve length shirt actually has a sleeve that is 34.5 inches (BYUMizzou) - CougarBoard.com. in length. The 34/35 is an indication that someone who wears a 34 or a 35 can wear the shirt.
How To Measure Your Size
- Collar. Measure around the base of your neck.
- Chest. Measure around the fullest part.
- Sleeve. Measure from the collar, down the shoulders and along the outer side of the arm.
- Waist. Measure around your natural waistline.
- Inside Leg.
- Outside Leg.
- Centre Back Length.
This is your actual (neck) shirt collar size. Depending on the country you live in the neck size is expressed in inches or centimeters. Normally the neck size ranges between about 14-18 inches or 36-46 centimeters.
