Hiram's illness on 'Riverdale'“We went to see a doctor, a specialist,” she tells Veronica. “He ran some tests and confirmed that your father has a disease.” Hermione further explains that Hiram has a neuromuscular disorder which will weaken his body and cause his muscles to atrophy.
As was established when Chic showed up, Charles is Betty's half-brother, born to a teenage Alice and Jughead's dad FP. He sees something special in Betty, and after working with her to take down the Farm, encourages her to join the junior FBI program.
'Riverdale': Betty And Archie Finally Got Together — With A Twist. Spoilers for Riverdale Season 4, Episode 15, “Chapter Seventy-Two: To Die For” past this point. Well, it finally happened. After crashing and burning confessing her feelings to Archie, though, Betty got together with Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse).
Sad news, Riverdale fans. According to Page Six, real life couple Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart who play fictional couple Jughead and Betty on the CW's hit show Riverdale have broken up after almost 3 years together.
pulling the trigger. Oh, and Hermione wanted Hiram dead for a couple reasons: she had plans to sell off his Fizzle Rocks factory and she resented him for causing Veronica's seizure. (Yes, this makes two episodes in a row where it's revealed a character faked his own death and then died for real in the same episode).
Well, the biggest reveal of all came at the end of the episode, when Charles visited Chic in prison and revealed the two were very much not broken up. Apparently, Charles and Chic were actually working together to get Betty to lead Charles to the body of the shady man Chic killed back in Season 2.
Is she prank calling Betty? Charles calls Polly, as Edgar. Polly is excited to hear from Edgar, but Betty tells her Edgar is worm food and reams her out for prank calling her. Polly seems legitimately confused enough that I start to wonder if Charles made that trace up and that he was the one prank calling earlier.
Weirdly, the new season still has not introduced a major villain yet — there's no Black Hood or Gargoyle King terrorizing the town like in seasons past. In Season 2, Chic impersonated Charles to get close to the Cooper family, but in the end, he revealed the real Charles Smith had died while they were living together.
Who is making the video tapes? The obvious answer is Mr. Honey, but remember, Riverdale loves its red herrings.
Ever since the Riverdale Season 3 finale, The CW show has been hinting that Jughead (played by Cole Sprouse) was murdered, only for him to be revealed to be alive in the March 4 episode of the show. Bret led Jug into the woods (as we saw a few episodes ago) while Donna kept Betty occupied.
A dodgy coroner. Following a search party, Jughead's body was found and taken to the coroner's office for identification. Donna and Bret Weston Wallis (Sean Depner) stormed in and before being kicked out by Betty, they briefly saw Jughead's dead body lying on the table.
After weeks of hearing about Jughead's shocking and brutal death at the hands of Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) last week's episode finally revealed Jughead was not really dead, but he was faking his death all along.
Throughout the season, it was built up that someone in Riverdale was watching and recording the goings-on of the town's residents. Now, Jughead is in possession of a tape that recreated the night he was “killed” by Betty in the woods, and he's determined to find out who it is.
As of May 6, 2020, 76 episodes of Riverdale have aired, concluding the fourth season. On January 7, 2020, the series was renewed for a fifth season, which is set to premiere on January 20, 2021.
Donna's task was to distract Betty and set her up for Jughead's murder while Bret lured him into the woods. Then, while he wasn't looking, Joan Berkeley (Doralynn Mui) crept up behind him and hit him over the head with a rock.
Reggie begins to worry about the murder, and Kevin reveals that a search party is underway for Honey. Reggie freaks out about the murder in the Bulldogs locker room, until Archie antagonizes him into keeping quiet. Reggie then dies, after the rest of the kids cut the brakes in his car and blame it on an accident.
The last videotape features a murder that only happened in Jughead's head sort of. As its title spells out, the Riverdale season 4 finale featured a number of revenge fantasies about killing Mr. Honey, which ended up just being part of something Jughead was writing for a college admission portfolio.
Holden Honey is a recurring character on The CW's Riverdale. He is portrayed by Kerr Smith. Mr. Honey was hired as principal of Riverdale High School in Waldo Weatherbee's absence.
So there's no world in which Betty would purposely harm Jug. In Episode 14, “Chapter Seventy-One: How to Get Away with Murder,” Betty tries to convince Archie and Veronica that she didn't kill Jughead and that she's being framed for his murder. “I just found Jughead too,” she tells them.
Before the party, Jughead asked Betty if she trusted him, which she assured him she did. It seems like he knew the Stonewall Prep students were going to try and kill him and he needed a plan in place. The fact he had to pretend he was dead was so he could have some time without their ongoing interference and tactics.
No, Jughead is alive! In episode 15, titled "To Die For," it was revealed that Jughead was alive and hiding in Dilton's underground bunker after the Stonewall Prep students tried to murder him. After all of this is revealed and he's set to be arrested, DuPont throws himself out the window, falling to his death.
