Charmander has nine less stat points than Bulbasaur, but has more attack and its speed stat is much greater. Out of the three Pokemon, Charmander will be granted the first attack in battle due to this Speed advantage. Squirtle has the defensive advantage, which means it will take less damage vs.
Popplio is a top-tier starter to breeze through the in-game storyline. None of them are as useful as Scald of course, but they give Rowlet and Litten more usability for that stage of the game.

Litten and Popplio are typically considered the best Pokemon Sun And Moon starters, but while Litten has something of a tough time in the beginning, many players feel its the best Pokemon to take through the game.
Blaziken is clearly the coolest looking Pokemon out of all starters, but it is weaker than Charizard and just barely stronger than Infernape. But it pretty much makes up for it with Sky Uppercut! (Blaze Kick is inaccurate and an unnecessary fire type move.
Like any other normal Shiny Pokemon. It's a 1 in 8,192 chance. Of course, you can always breed as well, but if you want an actual, pure starter Pokemon you'll have to do it at the start of the game.
Back in the day to my knowledge the only way to get all 3 starters would be to trade (more specifically I would 'New Game' the game 3 times and send the starter to a friend ASAP, then I would then receive the 2 starters from earlier runs back on my 3rd start).
In short, Incineroar is popular thanks to its great options for support an disruption is doubles, while also having good bulk and the ability to hit hard. Backed up by a perfect movepool for the job, Incineroar is and will likely continue to be a strong member of VGC teams.
This gave Decidueye an interesting niche in competitive battling and got a lot of players looking its way. With 107 attack and 100 special defence, compared to its 100 special attack and 75 defence, Decidueye was obviously best suited to a utility role.
Sobble. Moving on to the water-type starter in Sword and Shield, Sobble was touted to be one of the most luxurious before release. Sobble is a water lizard Pokemon, later evolving into Drizzile and finally Inteleon; donning a secret agent demeanour.

Chikorita is all too frequently viewed as the worst starter, but edges out Oshawott if only for Meganium's charming design, being historically more viable, and the fact that it could handily best Samurott in a fight. Everything else about Chikorita is bland to the point of being bad.

- Blaziken:
- Sceptile: Pros: Sceptile has the best speed out of all three Hoenn starters and has to be one of the fastest Grass types still.
- Swampert: Pros: Swampert's great typing and extensively large natural defences make it a great staller, even Ingame.
Piplup definitely is my favorite gen 4 starter. Empoleon is so unique with its design and typing. Chimchar is my second favorite, and then Turtwig. Chimchar, the best option.
At the top spot, we have Swampert at a total of 535, and an average stat of 89.167. In last place we have a tie between Venusaur, Meganium and Torterra with a stat total of 525, and an average stat of 87.5.
There's no surefire and speedy way to receive a shiny starter. You have to exert tedious legwork and hope it doesn't take you more than a day. Mind you, it took five years for one person to find a shiny Mewtwo. If you're truly determined to get one, you'll have to swallow the fact that it might take very long.
What is the best starter pokemon in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum? Chimchar which is a strong fire pokemon, Piplup which is a water penguin or Turtwig which is a very good grass pokemon.
