Connecting to your Microsoft Exchange account (web client and Desktop App)
- On the web client and Desktop App, click your user name, and then click Settings.
- Click the Extensions tab.
- Locate the Microsoft Exchange extension, and then click Connect.

- Step 1: Open Your List of Accounts. Either: Go to Applications > Email.

- Access the mailbox account using Outlook Web Access (OWA)
- Click Options / See All Options / Account / My Account / Settings for POP, IMAP, and SMTP access.

How to find the SMTP Mail Server for an Email Address
- Open a DOS Command Prompt.
- Type "nslookup".
- Your computer's DNS Server name and IP address will be displayed.
- Type "set type=mx" - This will cause NSLOOKUP to only return what are known as MX (Mail eXchange) records from the DNS servers.
- For an example, type "hotmail.com" or use your own domain name.
Open the DOS interface of your computer by typing the letters "cmd" into the "Open" field of the run menu. After you press enter, a new window should open which includes the DOS command prompt. In this window, type "Hostname" and press the enter key. Your computer's server name should appear.
If you're connecting to your Microsoft 365 email, the Exchange server name is partner.outlook.cn.
Launch Server Manager. Navigate to Roles > Active Directory Domain Services > Active Directory users and Computers <domain> > <domain> > Microsoft Exchange Security Groups. From the list of Exchange Servers, remove this server.

In the EAC, go to Office 365 > Recipients > Migration. , and then select Migrate to Exchange Online. On the Select a migration type page, select Remote move migration and then click Next. and select the on-premises users to move to Microsoft 365 or Office 365 and click Add and then click OK.
The wizard allows you to select and configure which Exchange servers to handle secure mail transport between the on-premises and Exchange Online organizations.
