First, I highly recommend keeping your quilling paper in the package because it'll keep your papers from creasing or tangling. I like the 17-inch length of our Quilled Creations papers because they stack neatly side-by-side and they fit in those standard storage bins with drawers!
The easiest to cut, the easiest to quill, the easiest to find in your local store. Colored paper makes an excellent choice in most quilling projects. Be sure to choose paper that's acid free and colorfast. Quilling is a time-consuming project, and if you want it to last, these variables are a must!
So, what kind of glue to use for paper quilling? For Paper Quilling, water-soluble glue is good as it dries quickly and will dry clear. The glue should be water-based and also not too sticky or thick. Commonly white glue or clear glue is used for papercraft.
Quilling is an inexpensive craft that once you try, you'll be tempted to make your next hobby. All you need is paper and glue to make things that are both pretty to look at as well as stunning in design. The best way to get started if you're new to quilling is to find inspiration.
Pre-cut strips will usually come in an acid-free paper in the appropriate weight. If you are cutting your own strips, I would recommend starting with paper that weighs 120 gsm (grams per square meter) as it is ideal for rolling and creating shapes. However, you can use anything from 80 to 160 gsm for paper quilling.

Plastic Sheet Protection: One of the easiest methods is to preserve it with a layer of OHP sheet (transparent sheets) & frame by mounting it over the quilled creation. This keeps it dust free and keeps the coils intact. You can find ohp sheets in any stationary stores in and around your home.
Quilling is a process hedgehogs go through when they essentially exchange their old spines for new ones. This is part of the growing process because their baby quills simply won't do the job for an adult body. When this happens a significant number of their quills will start to fall out.
