Alt + Print Screen
To take a quick screenshot of the active window, use the keyboard shortcut Alt + PrtScn. This will snap your currently active window and copy the screenshot to the clipboard. You'll need to open the shot in an image editor to save it.Depending on your hardware, you may use the Windows Logo Key + PrtScn button as a shortcut for print screen. Take a screenshot on your Mac
- To take a screenshot, press and hold these three keys together: Shift, Command, and 3.

To capture the entire screen simply press Function (fn) + Shift + F11. Ctrl-Shift-S

- Right-click Advanced and select New > String Value.
Check If There Is an F Mode or F Lock Key on the Keyboard. If there is an F Mode key or F Lock key on your keyboard, the Print Screen not working Windows 10 may be caused by them, because such keys can disable the Print Screen key. If so, you should enable the Print Screen key by pressing F Mode key or F Lock key again

When using Windows 7, hit the Esc key first before opening the menu. Press the Ctrl + PrtSc keys. This captures the entire screen including the open menu. Select the drop-down arrow adjacent to the snipping mode and select 'Window Snip'.
You just need to press "Win+Shift+S" keys together and your computer screen will be covered by a white overlay. Now you can select any desired area of the screen using your mouse cursor. As soon as you release the cursor, the selected screen area screenshot will be automatically copied to clipboard.
Clipboard in Windows 10
- To get to your clipboard history at any time, press Windows logo key + V. You can also paste and pin frequently used items by choosing an individual item from your clipboard menu.
- To share your clipboard items across your Windows 10 devices, select Start > Settings > System > Clipboard.
