- Pay with TAP. Buy a TAP card and load fare at the TAP vending machine.
- Board the Train. Wait for train to make a complete stop and stand behind the yellow line.

How much does it cost to ride the Los Angeles Metro Rail? The one way fare is $1.75 and includes free transfers to other Metro Rail lines for up to two hours on a one-way trip. Seniors and disabled travelers pay only $0.75 per ride.
Blue Line stations will be back in service on Saturday, November 2, 2019. The Northern Segment of the Blue Line is out of service between Compton Station and 7th St/Metro Center from Saturday, June 1, 2019, through Friday, November 1, 2019, and reopening Saturday, November 2, 2019.

The Red Line is very safe in general. There's maybe 1 serious crime per year, unlike the Blue Line, where there's one every two weeks.
Phoenix public transit is pretty good and will significantly improve in the next few years. The spine of the system is a 25-mile modern streetcar that stretches from northwest Phoenix to the eastern inner suburbs of Tempe and Mesa.

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has a free people mover to connect you to the Valley Metro Rail system. You can get the PHX Sky Train from the 44th St/Washington light rail station to all terminals and East Economy parking lot at the airport.

Link light rail travels between UW Station and Sea-Tac Airport, making 13 stops along the way, including downtown Seattle. Link trains run every 6, 10 or 15 minutes depending on the time of day. Service is available from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday and from 6 a.m. to midnight on Sunday and holidays.

It is administered by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), which also operates the Metrobus and Metrorail services under the Metro name. Opened in 1976, the network now includes six lines, 91 stations, and 117 miles (188 km) of route.

The Metro begins operation at 5 a.m. on weekdays, 7 a.m. on Saturdays, and 8 a.m. on Sundays. Service ends at 11:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 p.m. on Sundays, although the last trains leave the terminals about 30 minutes before these listed times.
