Isaiah 43:1 "Don't fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine." God actually commands us not to fear, or worry. The phrase "fear not" is used at least 80 times in the Bible, most likely because He knows the enemy uses fear to decrease our hope and limit our victories.
It is taking God at His Word. The word believe, and its derivatives, is used 257 times, excluding “believer(s).”
It's important to know that without faith (complete trust in God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and everlasting life) the relief from that fear will never end. Faith in God means trusting in Him; his promise of heaven comes with that trust. Ask yourself the tough questions. Consult with priests/believers.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” And when you pray that heartfelt prayer believe you will receive salvation, eternal life is yours, God word is everlasting.
In the King James Version of the Bible it is translated as: Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed."
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
- 2 Corinthians 4:16-18. So we do not lose heart.
- 1 Peter 5:7. Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
- 1 Corinthians 15:58.
- 1 Corinthians 16:13-14.
In monotheistic thought, God is conceived of as the supreme being, creator, and principal object of faith. God has been conceived as either personal or impersonal. In theism, God is the creator and sustainer of the universe, while in deism, God is the creator, but not the sustainer, of the universe.
How To Keep Your Faith Up—Even When Life Is Difficult
- Pray. Ask God, the universe, or whatever higher force you believe in for the strength to love to your full potential.
- Be generous to others.
- Get inspired.
- Surround yourself with people you admire.
- Get the ball rolling first thing in the morning.
The Compendium notes seven characteristics of faith. Faith is: (1) necessary for salvation, (2) a free gift, a grace, (3) a human act, (4) it is certain, (5) it works through charity, (6) it continually grows, and (7) it is a foretaste of heaven.
To have trust in someone simply means having a strong belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of the individual, whereas having faith in someone reveals our complete confidence in other people. You could say that the two have an overlapping distribution; however, having faith includes having trust.
It is helpful to consider the components of faith (variously recognised and emphasised in different models of faith) as falling into three broad categories: the affective, the cognitive and the practical.
I believe, from the Bible, there are only three kinds of faith – dead faith, demonic faith and active faith.
Our Christian faith leads us to believe every person is created in God's image and deserves life in all its fullness. In our work around the world, we see children being kept from reaching their full potential.
There is something that is true, and we all know it to be true, and that is God gives us power when we make right choices. When we choose to live our lives in accordance with His word, His will, and His way; then we'll have additional power for life.
