In a history spanning over 125 years, the All Blacks have won more than ¾ of all the international matches they have played. That gives them a win ratio which eclipses Brazil in football, Australia in cricket and any other top team in any other major sport you could care to mention.

Their first meeting was on 17 November 1906, and was won 6-0 by Scotland and their most recent match was on 17 November 2018, and was won 26-20 by South Africa. Since South Africa's rugby re-admission in 1992, South Africa has dominated once again, winning 17 of the 19 encounters between the two.

The national rugby union teams of England and New Zealand have been playing each other in Test match rugby since 1905, and have contested a total of 42 Test matches since. Of the 42 matches between them, New Zealand have won 33 and England 8, with one draw.
