Get back online
- From the 'Touch to Start' screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen with one finger.
- Enter your App Unlock Code, a 4-digit pin number found in the Devices section of Avius Surveys.
- In the top-right corner your device will say if it's Online or Offline.
- Tap 'Unlock Screen'.
The distinction between online and offline is conventionally seen as the distinction between computer-mediated communication and face-to-face communication (e.g., face time), respectively. Online is virtuality or cyberspace, and offline is reality (i.e., real life or "meatspace").
Doc, Sheets, and Slides homescreens
- In Chrome browser, open the Docs, Sheets, or Slides homescreen.
- On the left, click the Menu icon .
- Choose Settings.
- Click Turn on. To disable offline access, click Turn off.
What Are Offline Messages? An offline message is essentially a status update that tells site visitors you're unavailable to chat and invites them to send a message.
How do I disable/enable Offline Mode?
- From the Cart screen.
- Tap the Menu icon on the top-left corner to go the Settings section.
- Tap the Online Only slider to toggle between ON and OFF.
- When Set to ON, you will see the following notification.
- Tap Ok to enable Online Only mode.
How to Find an iPhone that is turned off or offline
- Open Settings.
- Tap on the section at the top with your photo and name.
- Tap on Find My.
- Tap on Find My iPhone.
- Now make sure that Enable Offline Finding is on.
- Also make sure that Send Last Location is on.
Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data and make sure it's enabled for Mail if you wish to use your Mail app when your not on Wi-Fi. Take Care. I never changed my mobile data settings. it corrected itself anyway.
In general, if you're offline, it means you are not connected to either Wi-Fi or cellular data.
The first thing you need to do when your iPhone is connected to wifi but no internet access is to turn off Wi-Fi and turn it back on. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and then Turn Off the switch for Wi-Fi. After a minute, tap the same switch to reconnect your iPhone to the Wi-Fi network.
Restart your device.

- If restarting doesn't work, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data: Open your Settings app "Wireless & networks" or "Connections".

If Mail says that your account appears to be offline. Mail might say that your account appears to be offline due to a network problem. If you're connected to the Internet but your account appears to be offline, your email settings might no longer be correct.
Your cellular data not working may happen for a few reasons. It may be the poor connection in your area or lack of mobile internet coverage altogether, a bug in the system, a physical problem with your device or SIM, or simple forgetfulness to turn on the cellular data or turn off the Airplane Mode.
Why does my iPhone Email Says Network Offline?

Resetting network settings on your Apple® iPhone®
resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings and VPN settings.
Stored VPN info (e.g., password, server name, VPN type, etc.) is deleted.
- From a Home screen, navigate: Settings. > General > Reset.
- Tap Reset Network Settings.
- Tap Reset Network Settings.
The message means the iPad can't connect to the Internet. The message can pop up when the iPad attempts to use Wi-Fi or cellular service and could be the fault of any device or service in the network setup.
There might be a temporary internet connectivity issue or you might have run out of storage that you decided to store your offline data on. Sometimes, even downloading a large attachment file can also slow down your syncing speed.
With cellular data turned off for the Mail app, you can still read mail already on the phone and compose messages to be delivered as soon as you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. To temporarily suspend iOS Mail—and all other apps—from using cellular data, put the iPhone in Airplane Mode.
Choose Settings > Mobile Data, then make sure “Restrict Background Data†isn't enabled, either globally or for the mail application. Choose Settings > Data usage > Mobile and make sure that “Mobile data†is enabled. If a “mobile data limit†is chosen, ensure that you haven't reached that limit.
