Responding to why Discovery is rated as a TV-MA show, Goldsman said that was mostly due to the extremes and in general they wanted the show to be family-friendly, saying: It is TV-MA because it is rated for that which is most potentially challenging for a family.
Armageddon wins three of the five categories, but at the risk of upsetting the animal cracker lobby – and while acknowledging that it also has the better standing in pop culture and is just entertaining enough – Deep Impact is the better movie.

Ebola in the United States
On September 30, 2014, CDC confirmed the first travel-associated case of EVD diagnosed in the United States in a man who traveled from West Africa to Dallas, Texas. The Ebola virus is transmitted among humans through close and direct physical contact with infected bodily fluids, the most infectious being blood, faeces and vomit. The Ebola virus can also be transmitted indirectly, by contact with previously contaminated surfaces and objects.
Betsy, a white-headed capuchin monkey that is host to the virus, is smuggled into the country.

Ebola virus was first discovered in 1976 near the Ebola River in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo. Ebola virus then spreads to other people through direct contact with body fluids of a person who is sick with or has died from EVD.

Scientists discover that the Earth's core is about to stop spinning. This will cause tremendous natural disasters, wiping out life as we know it. A team of scientists are recruited in a crash project to send a ship and bomb into the center of the Earth to prevent the catastrophe.
I learnt that we should always be prepared before we do anything, and that it is normal and fine to make mistakes, so long as you remember them and learn from them.In the movie, the scientist tried using a simulation device to try and see what it feels like travelling to the core of the Earth.
Dr. Ed 'Braz' Brazzleton (Delroy Lindo) goes out of the ship to deactivate a safety switch and is killed by the intense heat of the molten rock.
— The spinning iron core in the center of the Earth would stop too. Without the spin, Earth's protective magnetic field would be gone too. The Sun radioactive rays would automatically kill anything left. The other half of Earth would freeze.
Unlike the mineral-rich crust and mantle, the core is made almost entirely of metal—specifically, iron and nickel. The shorthand used for the core's iron-nickel alloys is simply the elements' chemical symbols—NiFe. Elements that dissolve in iron, called siderophiles, are also found in the core.

It seems Earth's core has stopped spinning! So much for fiction. In fact, for at least the last 160 million years, as known from evidence preserved in the geological record, Earth's magnetic field has often reversed polarity.
The team discovers that the core material is less viscous than originally thought and they have to come up with a new plan. They decide to release the explosives in Virgil's pods. Braz dies while activating the manual release. The explosions go off and the core restarts.
42 hours from launch and 2600 miles down from the Earth's surface, Virgil has finally reached the Earth's inner core.
