Udemy supports Flash video and HTML video, and you can switch between the two in your profile.
By default, complete courses are not downloadable from a computer. Please note that you can always save courses for offline viewing on the Udemy mobile app (see below). Practice activities like quizzes and practice tests, etc. cannot be downloaded and completed offline.
Save Courses for Offline Viewing
- If you plan on being disconnected from the internet, entire courses, course sections, and course lectures can be saved for offline viewing via our mobile app.
- Select the course you want to download from My Courses.

Downloading Courses on Android. To change the speed of a particular lecture video, go to that lecture, and drag your mouse over the video. You will see a button in the bottom-left corner of the video giving you the option to change the speed.
On the Android app, please go to Account> Download options > and toggle on the Download via Wi-Fi only option. If you play downloaded lectures while your mobile data still is still turned on, the Udemy app will not use mobile data to load the video content.
