ODU GPA Requirements
The average high school GPA of admitted students is 3.29. Applicants with a GPA of 3.3 or higher are encouraged, but not required, to submit SAT or ACT scores. The ODU admission requirements include a guaranteed admission pathway for Virginia community college graduates with a 2.5 GPA.Greek Houses. Thirteen sorority houses and two fraternity houses are located on the west side of Newman Lake. Students in sorority and fraternity houssing are assigned to double rooms with a community bath located on each floor.
Most students not admitted during Early Action are automatically reviewed again carefully as part of the Regular Decision pool and they are notified of our admission decision in early April. However, we do send non-acceptance letters to some of our early applicants.
