How to Receive a Copy of Your C&P Exam
- Contact your local VA regional office;

How do I get a copy of my rating decision? To get a copy of your rating decision, you must make your request in writing and SIGNED BY YOU with your original signature on it. This written request should be sent to your nearest VA Regional Office and should tell us exactly what you need to get from VA.
Take your DD214 and government identification to any CVSO to obtain your Veteran Status Verification Form. Visit Any DMV. Go on-line or call any DMV for an appointment. Then bring your Veteran Status Verification Form to DMV.

If you do not have a current Virginia driver's license and it is your first time applying for a VA ID card, you must visit a Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) office in person. You cannot apply for a VA ID card online or by mail. Your VA ID card will be mailed to you within 15 days of your application.
