There is probably a bug in the app. While on their way the app sometimes says the Dasher is not moving (a GPS bug) and may flat out unassign the driver from your order due to this bug.

You can dash using a different vehicle than what's shown in your profile. You do not need to login to your profile each day to change the vehicle you are going to use.
