To enable your headset for use:
- Right-click the Volume icon in your Windows Taskbar.
- Select Playback devices.
- Right-click your headset in the list.
- Select Set as Default Device.
If troubleshooting sound problems doesn't work, try uninstalling and re-installing the Corsair audio device drivers and iCUE: Right-click on the Corsair headset and select Uninstall Device. Unplug the headset from your computer, and do NOT plug it back in until these instructions state to. Restart your computer.
How to: Reset an HS70 Wireless Gaming Headset
- Make sure your HS70 headset is powered off.
- Hold down the Mute button on the headset for about 15 to 20 seconds.
- Hold down the Power button until the headset turns on.
- Test your headset and see if the issue is resolved.
To test a microphone that has already been installed:
- Make sure your microphone is connected to your PC.
- Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
- In Sound settings, go to Input > Test your microphone and look for the blue bar that rises and falls as you speak into your microphone.
Check that your microphone is connected to the correct (normally pink) socket in your computer. If it's a mic with a USB connector just make sure it is properly connected to the USB socket (you will not use the pink microphone in this case). Check that the volume on the microphone is not turned all the way down.
Go to Corsair's official website. Check out DOWNLOADS under the Support section. Search the right driver for your model of Corsair headset product and click the download icon to download the driver file. Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to finish the install.
While on the Recording tab, speak into view the meter to the right of the headset listing as you speak into the microphone. If this meter goes up and down as you speak, then the microphone is operational.
If your microphone isn't working, head to Settings > Privacy > Microphone. Below that, ensure “Allow apps to access your microphone” is set to “On.” If microphone access is off, all applications on your system won't be able to hear audio from your microphone.
Make sure that the microphone or headset is connected correctly to your computer. Make sure that the microphone is positioned correctly. Increase the volume of your microphone. On the Levels tab of the Microphone Properties window, adjust the Microphone and Microphone Boost sliders as needed, then select OK.
Change a site's camera & microphone permissions
- On your Android device, open the Chrome app .
- To the right of the address bar, tap More. Settings.
- Tap Site Settings.
- Tap Microphone or Camera.
- Tap to turn the microphone or camera on or off.

Android: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > App permissions > Microphone and switch on the toggle for Zoom.
Sometimes the issue could end up being a quite simple one, you might be simply muted during a Google Meet meeting and not know about it. - Open Settings.
- Click on System.
- Click on Sound.
- Under the "Input" section, click the Manage sound devices option.
- Under the "Input" section, select the microphone.
- Click the Disable button. (Or clear the Disable option to enable the device.)
