In addition to listing all the artboards in the current document, the Artboards panel lets you display, create, rename, and duplicate artboards; change their order; rearrange them in the document; choose options for them; change their orientation; and delete them.
The only way to get them back is to click on the workspace drop down and reset. Do you have Application Frames turned on? (Window > Application Frames). I highly recommend that you do because InDesign handles that generally much better than turned off.
To use it to move the current document in its window, drag or click in the proxy preview area (red outlined box). To change the document zoom level, use the zoom controls at the bottom of the panel. To both zoom to, and bring a specific area of, a document into view, Cmd-drag/Ctrl-drag in the proxy preview area.
The workspace settings file is located under the . vscode folder in your root folder. Note: In case of a Multi-root Workspace, workspace settings are located inside the workspace configuration file.

Display or switch workspaces: select a workspace from the workspace switcher in the Application bar. Note: In Photoshop, you can assign keyboard shortcuts to each workspace to navigate among them quickly.
When Isolation Mode is entered, anything not within the isolated object will appear dimmed out. There will also be a gray isolation bar at the top of the document window.
To hide or show all on-screen panels EXCEPT the side Toolbar and top Control panel, press the SHIFT+TAB keys.
You can't save the workspace by itself, but you can save *all* your settings (including the workspaces). Got to Edit > My Settings > Export Settings and pick a file location.
You can change it in the settings: Cmd + K ( ctrl + k in windows ) and in there the User interface tab. Another alternative where you can switch in and out of it being white or grey (e.g. if you want to focus on your work, then focus on the mood board items around it):
Click one of the straight paths with the Selection tool and then Shift-click the other straight paths. Choose Object > Group to group all the straight paths together into a single group. Click any path in the original group and then Shift-click any path in the second group to select both groups at the same time.
To create a linear gradient, do one of the following:
- Click the Gradient tool and then click the object on the canvas. The Gradient Type buttons are displayed in the Control panel or Properties panel.
- In the Gradient panel, click Linear Gradient.
- In the Properties panel, click Linear Gradient in the Gradient section.
Selection: Selects entire objects or groups. This tool activates all anchor points in an object or group at the same time, allowing you to move an object without changing its shape.
Choose Window > Tools > New Tools panel.
- Name your new Tools panel.
- At first, your new Tools panel will be empty, except for the the Fill and Stroke controls.
- To add tools, just drag and drop them into your new panel from the existing toolbar.
1 Answer. Although there is no way to Export and Import a workspace, there is a way to do it manually. And then you will see a bunch of blank file types named with the names of your Workspaces, you can then manually copy them out and load them in to the same folder on the other computer (or just save them for backup).
1 Answer. According to Adobe: Workspaces are stored in XML files in the preferences folder. With some caveats regarding monitor size and layout, these workspaces can be moved to another computer and used there.
Have you tried Edit > Presets > Export/Import Presets? Select the Workspace you want, use the ">" to move it to the right window. When you click on Export Presets, you can choose or create a Folder to store the Preset(s) in and copy it to your other PC.

Click and hold the Knife tool in the Tools panel and select the Scissors tool.
To find them go to the Control Panel and open Folder Options and then click the View tab.
There is no way to increase this. If you need a larger work area, you will need to work at scale. The maximum area allowed for use by AI is approximately 227 inches square. There is no way to increase this.
